Boris Johnson met with healthtech startups Babylon and Thriva to discuss scaling up coronavirus testing
Babylon Ali Parsa, chief executive of Babylon, is said to have attended the meeting UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and health minister Matt Hancock held a meeting with healthcare startups, big tech firms, and major healthcare players on Tuesday to discuss how they could help tackle the coronavirus pandemic. Unicorn healthcare firm Babylon and blood-testing company Thriva, two of the UK's most prominent healthtech startups, sat alongside representatives from Amazon, Boots and Swiss healthcare firm Roche.
